This medication belongs to the family of alpha-blockers. It acts on the bladder, the urethra (urinary tract), and the prostate.
It is intended for men only and is indicated in cases of enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia) to:
• relieve difficulties in urination.
• serve as an adjuvant treatment to bladder catheterization in cases of acute urinary retention related to prostate enlargement.
